Rachel – GOLD

Rachel was lucky enough to be selected for GOLD 2017 in Aruba as a participant and then again as a leader in 2018 for a project in the Maldives.  These projects are about Guiding overseas and developing our Girlguiding offering across the world in different communities.

Here is what Rachel had to say about her time with GOLD:

“GOLD was a life-changing experience for me. I developed my skills as a leader and GOLD gave me so much more confidence in myself which I am able now to give when back to Girlguiding in my local community.

The Guiding friends I have made in the UK and around the world, along with the opportunity to experience new cultures are all unforgettable!
