Girls trust their peers – that’s why Peer Education works!
Are you enthusiastic and able to motivate?
We’re looking for volunteers from across the region to join Peer Education!
In this role you will:
- Attend meetings
- Plan and deliver recruitment activities
- Support the growth of Peer Education in your area
- Support the training of Peer Educators
- Support and signpost members looking for more information about Peer Education
Are you interested? Please email northwesthq@girlguidingnwe.org.uk
Although it’s not required, experience working with those 14+, and experience as a current or ex-Peer Educator is ideal!
Peer Educators are 14-25 year olds who help Brownies, Guides and Rangers explore important topics.
We know that girls want to hear from peers who can share similar experiences. There are 3 main sessions that Peer Educators run in a fun, safe and challenging environment:
- Think Resilient
- Breaking Free
- Save the World
