Come and join us at our Bloom - Sri Lanka Project selection day.
We’re looking for adult members that are up for a challenge and keen to participate in this new project.
Guiding Overseas Linked with Development (GOLD) worked with the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association between 2011 and 2015. In order to further support the organisation, Girlguiding North West England has committed to a four year project, which will focus on helping to further develop the Rangers’ section, for 17-21 year olds, by expanding the programme and recruiting and training leaders.
This is a selection event for adult members (aged 18+) wishing to participate in this project and available to travel to Sri Lanka for approximately 2 weeks in March 2019 (dates to be confirmed, but likely to be during term time). Come along and meet the project’s lead volunteers and learn more about the trip.
